MBABANE:Eswatini police allegedly raided Dwaleni Farm Lodge this week amid assault and abuse of workers by Director Busisiwe Mabuza and allegations suggesting that, the hospitality company has been operating with an expired license.
Efforts to reach Mabuza for a comment proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
But the raiding by members of the law enforcement agency comes after a trending video exposing the Director, physically abusing or assaulting one of her employees.
Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Eswatini Police Spokesperson declined to comment about the matter.
But the People’s United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO) Youth League recently visited the Dwaleni Farm Lodge to protest against the ongoing abuse of workers.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News on Sunday, PUDEMO Deputy President Wandile Dludlu urged the Labour Department to take-up the matter.
“The Labour Department more than police ought to intervene in the Dwaleni Farm Lodge chaos, this is extremely concerning as a Nation in dire economic doldrums we cannot afford this spectacle in the name of a job,” said the PUDEMO Deputy President.
