MBABANE:Ntombi Mhlongo, the Secretary General of the Eswatini National Association of Journalists (ESNAJ) has released a statement, condemning attacks by lawyer Sydney Maseko directed to Times senior journalist Mfankhona Nkambule.
The Journalists Association alleged that, Maseko attacked the journalist and went on to post on social media about the incident, the lawyer allegedly attacked Nkambule amid disagreement over an article published by the Times and written by the journalist.
“Disagreement with media content should be addressed through dialogue and lawful engagement, in line with Eswatini’s values as a peaceful and democratic Nation,” reads the statement in part.
