We are generally expected to respect and follow the law, rules and normal practices as a reciprocal obligation of the governed towards the Governors.
This is a basic tenet of the social contract, the foundation of all modern civilized Governments.
One of the main social mechanism in which citizens daily affirm this contract is through allowing themselves to be governed by laws passed in the legislative body authorized to do so, hence laws are enacted, interpreted and applied or enforced upon them, thereby taxes paid, dues collected and social order prevails in a country like ours.
This is expected from everyone under such jurisdiction for failure to comply attracts sanctions depending on the degree of the transgression.
We however have observed over time that, no matter the Cabinet and or administration, they seems to be a trend of government picking and choosing which laws to respect and which not to without due care for process and procedures.
The matter at hand is the case of Mr Mbongwa Ernest Dlamini who has not one ,not two but four judgements by a competent court that he must be reinstated to his work stations and also remunerated accordingly.
This sterms from a wrongful suspension and withholding of his salary for four years now.
The Ministry of Education and current Cabinet like others before is showing nakedly so a middle finger to the courts, this is reminiscent of the November 28 Prime Minister's statement in which a Supreme Court judgement was through a radio announcement in 2002 rubbished and thredded by Dr Barnabas Dlamini the most loved servant of the Monarchy.
We daily get judgements and laws as well as decisions that we don't like, but comply with as citizens.
The day we elect to pick and choose which laws, decisions and rules we respect as His Majesty’s Government has been doing countless times,Government must not be alarmed nor should we be punished, when Lozitha, Ludzidzini and capital hill has been doing this in full glare of the world.
The King, Queen Mother, royal family and their Government must never forget that, the only thing they have is the law, emaSwati respect them as a Nation because through the law we've allowed state to exercise our power, the law makes and protects the chairs they swing in nothing else.
The devine right of Kings to rule is one long dead theory, so respect the law because that’s the only thing that enables you to leave another day.
The contempt with which you denigrate this sacred species called law is to your own detriment, free of charge as a soujenor I will profess to you.
We are not slave to your throne, respect the law, for one day, the nimbulus clouds will gather on the horizons of fate.
