MBABANE:Nontobeko Dlamini, the Dwaleni Farm Lodge employee who was allegedly assaulted by businesswoman and owner of the Lodge Busisiwe Mabuza arrived in Mbabane to meet lawyers.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, Dlamini said she read on this publication that, “there’s a lawyer willing to assist her sue the businesswoman”.

“I was subjected to abuse at work it wasn’t just the assault seen in the video and after reporting to various institutions including the Labour Department, I didn’t receive any assistance because the Dwaleni Farm Lodge owners told me that they are connected to royalty and nothing will happen to them. I was at the University of Eswatini while working there and as a result, I was even threatened that Government won’t employ me after completing my Humanities Degree if I am taking action against Director Busisiwe Mabuza because her husband is a Dlamini born from the royal family. I’ve been threatened but now I am ready to take up this matter and pursue it until the end, I want justice,” she said.

But the businesswoman rushed to the Eswatini Observer for an interview and the publication did not contact the victim for her side of the story, efforts by this Swaziland News to reach Mabuza for comment proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

On another note, Dlamini said at some point, the Dwaleni Farm Lodge Director ordered police officers to arrest and detain her without charge, accusing her of stealing company funds.

“She would abuse her powers by instructing the police to just arrest me and at some point, I was released by the Station Commander who contacted her demanding to know why I was locked-up. Wavele watsi mvaleleni loyo ngiyabuya ngise-Thekwini, akahlale lapho. The Station Commander told her that, it’s against the law to just detain a person more than forty-eight (48) hours without charge and I was released,” she said.
