MBABANE:Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini has sponsored a LaMgabhi Etiyeni Christmas tournament to the tune of one hundred thousand Rands (R100,000.00).

The annual tournament to be known as the “Zwemart Christmas Cup” has been approved by the area’s traditional leadership (uMphakatsi) after the editor introduced the idea to support the youth and promote a health lifestyle.

On another note, the editor urged teams to demonstrate respect and use this annual tournament for community development and promote a health lifestyle.

“I want to see the youth competing in this tournament rising and playing for giant teams like Mbabane Swallows, Highlanders, Nsingizini Hotspurs, Moneni Pirates and Manzini Wanderers among others,” said the editor.

The tournament is highly expected to commence this week at Mdzimba Sports Grounds and teams that include  Rangers, Cebelele, Mayoloza, Driekoopies, Asernal, Hlobane City Stars, Achievers and Amacabane among others will be competing.
