MBABANE:Sicelo ‘KhungaNkhosi’ Dlamini, the Mayiwane Member of Parliament (MP) says he decided to board a public this week to interact with residents of his Constituency and gather their views on issues to be discussed in Parliament.
Responding to this Swaziland News the MP said, he wanted to demonstrate to the people who voted him to Parliament that, “as their MP, he is just a normal person and therefore, they can interact” with him anytime.
“By boarding the public transport wanted to show the electorate that an MP is just a normal person ,they have complained that when we are elected we move away from them”, he said.
The MP said he will also visit churches and drinking spots among other public places, to interact with the people.
“The country is ruled through Tinkhundla system which tells us that everything comes from the people on the ground, I am actually operationalizing Tinkhundla system of Government,” said the Mayiwane MP.
