MBABANE:Indvuna Themba Ginindza and the Ludzidzini Council is allegedly forcing members of the public who reported disputes to wait for more than six (6) hours and then postpone the meetings without clear justification.
It has been disclosed that, members of the public who travel from as far as Lavumisa and some parts of the Shiselweni Region normally wake-up at around 4am after being summoned by the Ludzidzini Council to appear around 8am.
But members of the Council would arrive at around 12pm, hold a meeting for a few minutes and then Ncumbi Maziya or any member of the Ludzidzini Council would emerge and tell the summoned members of the public that, the meeting has been postponed.
“Libandla seliyanicitsa bekunene kukhona lapho lijake khona,” Ncumbi Maziya said in one of the meetings on behalf of the Council.
Chairman Indvuna Themba Ginindza’s cellphone rang unanswered when this publication tried to contact him for a comment.
On another note, members of the public complained that, the Ludzidzini Council “takes time to conclude disputes such that, the poor and vulnerable emaSwati find themselves with no money for transport”.
“Sometimes we ask ourselves why they are behaving like the King, it’s understandable to wait for the King during Sibaya. But these people would make us wait only to postpone the meeting,” said an aggrieved member of public.
