BUHLENI:Thando Hlatjwako, a Form III student at Ekubongeni High School allegedly committed suicide this week thinking he failed the Junior Certificate (JC) examination after trying to verify his name through the Short Message Service (SMS) Results System.
“It’s painful because after he died we realized that he passed with a Second Class but his name was not appearing in the SMS Results System so he thought he failed, consumed a poisonous substance and died,” Thando Hlatjwako’s mother Cebile Fakudze told this Swaziland News.
Fakudze then appealed for assistance to bury her son saying “he died at a time when she is facing financial challenges”.
