MBABANE:Mancoba Sihlongonyane, the Sithobelweni Member of Parliament (MP) has assured residents that, the R2.5billion road construction project funded through a loan secured from the African Development Bank (AfDB), will commence next month, he appealed for patience as heavy rains ground residents.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday afternoon, the MP said Government assured him that, the project will commence next month and soon thereafter, the challenges facing the residents will be over.
“Government assured me that the project will commence next month, we appeal for patience as the project is about to begin,” said the MP.
Residents of Sithobelweni particularly those residing next to eMhembe Bus Stop contacted this publication, complaining about a huge pothole turning into a dam in the middle of the road.
