MBABANE: Sabelo Dlamini, the Secretary General of the eSwatini Local Kombis Association has once again warned drivers against ill-treating customers.
This comes after Sibongile Ngwenya, a customer who was traveling with a public transport servicing Sandla-Mbabane on Tuesday morning told this Swaziland News that she was injured by a metal object while inside the Kombi with registration numbers OSD 417 BM, the driver is said to have drove-off after dropping the customer without any apology.
“We would like to apologize to the public and the customer for this unfortunate incident, customers are our bosses and we cannot pay the loans for these vehicles without them. It’s true that we are lacking on customer service but we will address this, at this juncture, we have instructed our marshals in Mbabane to trace the kombi so we can talk to the driver” ,said the Secretary General.
Sibongile Ngwenya when interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on the Swaziland News audio channel said she was injured by the metal object inside the kombi seat and informed the driver, however, he allegedly drove-off without any apology after dropping her.
“I was injured by a metal object in the seat and informed the driver, however, he drove-off immediately after dropping me” she said.
