Exipro Managing Director Gavin Adamson says Eswatini is in a mess as electricity becomes expensive increasing costs of doing business, manufacturing companies to close resulting to job losses.

EZULWINI:Gavin Adamson, the Managing Director of Exipro Manufacturing has warned of a crisis as electricity prices surge in Eswatini.

The businessman was speaking at Sibane Hotel-Ezulwini on Wednesday during the ongoing public consultations organized by the Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority (ESERA) after the Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) applied for electricity increase again. He warned that manufacturing companies will shut-down resulting in job losses because “the costs of doing business in Eswatini is being increased by the surge in electricity tariffs”.
