MBABANE: Paul Dlamini, the Chairman of the Liqoqo King’s Advisory Council allegedly made calls to a State lawyer at the Attorney General’s Office in the morning of the 9th January 2026, directing the Office of the AG not to represent Chief Masiphula Ntshangase.
According to information obtained by this Swaziland News, this was before Judge Bongani ‘BS’ Dlamini heard the matter between Liqoqo member Mzuthini Ntshangase and his wife Nothando Nhlengetfwa and subsequently ruled in favour of Mzuthini Ntshangase later in the day.
The Mkhwakhweni Chief was in court in support of Nothando Nhlengetfwa’s application seeking to stop her husband from hosting “umtsimba” within the premises of her house on the basis that, the event was not formally reported to uMphakatsi, the Judge igonored the Chief.
The name of the Attorney General’s Office lawyer who was allegedly bullied by Principal King’s Advisor Paul Dlamini, cannot be revealed for ethical reasons.
But an effort was made to contact the Liqoqo Chairman for a comment however, his cellphone rang unanswered and, he had not returned the call at the time of compiling this report.
On another note, Chief Masiphula Ntshangase told the court that, Liqoqo member Isiah Mzuthini Ntshangase established his own Inner Council (Bandlancane) at Mkhwakhweni, accusing him of destabilizing the transitional governance structure.
