MBABANE: The private sector and Government have joined hands in promoting the Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) Earth Hour starting from 8:30pm to 9:30pm on the 28th March 2026.
Earth Hour is a global World Wildlife Fund (WWF) initiative, occurring annually on the last Saturday of March, where millions switch off non-essential electric lights to raise awareness for nature loss and climate change, it focuses on collective action to protect the planet.
Companies who joined the campaign include the Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority (ESERA), MTN Eswatini, Galp Eswatini, Construction Industry Council, University of Eswatini (UNESWA), Standard Bank Eswatini and Eswatini Sugar among others.
