KWALUSENI: Lungile Tsabedze- Kunene, the Kwaluseni Primary School Headteacher allegedly ‘kicked out’ a vulnerable child from class this week merely for wearing an old uniform.

As a result, the child’s mother had to run to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office and on Thursday, the child was allowed back to class.

Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, the Headteacher denied ‘kicking out’ the child, she said “the child is back in class” after DPM’s Office officials contacted her.

“It’s not true that the child was ‘kicked out’, the child is in class as we speak and the mother was here. I was surprised when the DPM’s Office intervened,” said the Headteacher when contacted by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.

On another note, the Headteacher is reportedly colluding with uniform manufacturers to sell the new uniform and as a result, children even those with second hand uniform, are forced to buy a new uniform.
