MBABANE: Former Kwakha Indvodza Director Sonic Dlamini says he was unlawfully fired by the Governing Board after the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) lost funding under the United States President Donald Trump administration.

Speaking to this Swaziland News this week, the former Director said he was told to immediately leave the organization’s assets.

“I knew that the organization was facing financial challenges after the halting of donor funding but, I was not happy with the manner in which my employment was terminated,” he said.

Efforts to seek a comment from the Chairman of the Board of Directors Mlungisi Ndwandwe proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

Non-Governmental Organizations in the country are currently retrenching their staff amid scarcity of donors.
