MBABANE: Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini has found Bongani Fred Simelane, the missing Eswatini truck driver who was hijacked this week while transporting sugar from Eswatini to South Africa.
The editor was assisted by South Africans who read the story on Swaziland News, they then connected Dlamini with the driver, Simelane spoke to the editor but his location cannot be revealed for now for security reasons.
After speaking to Simelane, the editor contacted his employer Recap Logistics Director Mndeni Masuku to confirm the voice if it’s that of his missing employee, Masuku cried while confirming.
“Eish nguye Nkhosi, yati besengisangene kutsi ngitawushonaphi ngalomntfwanebantfu, Nguye Nkhosi ngiyabonga kakhulu”, he said.
The editor then urged the Director to cool down after being overcome by emotions, promising to call him later and share details where to find his kidnapped employee.
