MBABANE: The Sincemphetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF) has advised pedestrians to concentrate and prioritize safety when crossing the road.
In an online statement, SMVAF further urged pedestrians to avoid using cellphones and pay attention to the surroundings before crossing.
“Your playlist shouldn’t be the last thing you hear. Take control on foot: ditch distractions, listen to the world around you, and cross with confidence. You are worth the attention,” reads the online statement in part.
