The tendency of referring to King Mswati as ‘longange-live’ made some of his alleged corrupt thieves to conclude that, if Mswati is the ‘country’, then they are the rivers, Mountains and other natural wonders.
Perhaps it is important to clarify that, there’s no human being in this country who deserves to be called “a country” not even Mswati, this country is a collective property of emaSwati.
Referring to the King as ‘longange-live’ is just praise singing creativity and the King must never allow that to pollute his mind because he is fully aware that he is not and, will never be a country.
But I am particularly concerned with the conduct of the alleged corrupt thieves next to King Mswati who by virtue of working with the Monarch, end-up thinking that, they are immune to criticism.
It is worth-mentioning that, some of these alleged thieves include King’s Interpreter Sihle Dlamini, Senate President Lindiwe Gwebu-Dlamini, King’s Secretary Mbongeni Simelane among others, they claim to love the King just because being closer to the Monarch, enables them to steal in the name of royalty.
Anyone with a different political view, is quickly branded as a threat to the country; “lona wenyanya live”, what a shame!.
How can alleged corrupt thieves who accumulated wealth by stealing public funds elevate themselves to a political barometer status, determining who loves or hate the country?.
Well, it is important to clarify that, some of these people next to the King are not naturally intelligent, that’s why most of them struggle in life once King Mswati removes them from their position, then one wonders why they then think all of us must politically think like them.
We have our own brains and capabilities to identify what is wrong or right and, we have a right to hold and/or express our own political views but still be loyal to our country.
Indeed, having a different political view or being critical against the Government or the King does not mean you hate your country but, you want things to be done the right way, in fact those who looted public funds and collapsed the Government are the ones who hate this country.
In conclusion, let me advise these alleged corrupt thieves stealing in the name of royalty not to literally interpret the praises “longange-live” and then believe the King is the country.
Once they do that, they will then conclude that by virtue of working with the King who in their stupid imagination is “the country”, they are the rivers, Mountains, waterfalls and all natural wonders.
