REVEALED: Eswatini Air flight transporting resigned FSRA Board Chairperson Reverend Senzo Hlatjwako to arrive around 4pm, Assistant Commissioner Clement Sihlongonyane now armed with warrant of arrest in widely reported Chinese illegal gambling and extortion scandal.

MBABANE: Reverend Senzo Hlatjwako who is allegedly implicated in the widely reported Chinese illegal gambling and extortion scandal, has resigned as Board Chairperson of the Financial Services and Regulatory Authority (FSRA) as earlier reported by this Swaziland News citing a very senior Cabinet source.

But according to a flight and passenger tracking conducted by this journalist, Reverend Senzo Hlatjwako left Cape Town around 1pm on Wednesday (25th March 2026) where he was attending a Workshop organized by FSRA and, will arrive at the King Mswati International Airport around 4pm.

Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Eswatini Police Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

On another note, Assistant Police Commissioner Clement Sihlongonyane, the Head of Investigation in the multibillion Chinese illegal gambling and extortion scandal is now allegedly armed with a warrant of arrest for Reverend Senzo Hlatjwako and the Reverend is highly expected to be arrested this week.

Reverend Senzo Hlatjwako, the FSRA Board Chairperson and his “out-on-bail” wife Misiwe Jele-Hlatjwako stand accused of colluding with Chinese nationals and other foreigners to engage in illegal gambling and extortion.
