MBABANE: Taiwan President William Lai Ching-te is highly expected to visit Eswatini for the upcoming King Mswati’s forty (40) years on Throne and birthday double celebration, information sourced from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu’s Office reveals.
Acting Eswatini Government Spokesperson Thabile Mdluli was not immediately available for a comment regarding the visit.
The Taiwan President is highly expected to arrive in Eswatini a few days before 25th April 2026, the event will held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Ezulwini, Eswatini is the last country in Africa with diplomatic relations with Taiwan, a Chinese Province.
