MBABANE: Savannah Maziya, the Minister of Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) has won another award and this time, it’s for the Best Smart City after the successful implementation of the technology project in Mbabane.
The Eswatini ICT Minister was awarded during the Asia’s largest Smart City event last week, Mbabane was a pilot project apparently implemented by the ICT Minister shortly after being appointed by the King to demonstrate the practical delivery of a Smart City.
Minister Maziya presented the idea to the Taiwanese Government authorities who agreed to fund it.
