Students Union to march to Limkokwing on Friday, demands reinstatement of suspended students.

MBABANE: Colani Maseko, the President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) has confirmed that student will march to the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology(LUCT) on Friday demanding the reinstatement of their suspended colleagues.

Speaking to this Swaziland on Thursday, the Students President said they are calling the reinstatement of the students as a matter of urgency.

“Tomorrow we are going to deliver a petition at Limkokwing University of Creative and Technology LUCT. We are calling upon the director to reinstate all suspended Students as matter of urgency” he said.

The march organized by the Students Union forms part of ongoing protests in demand for democratic reforms, an end to the persecution of students and justice for Thabani Nkomonye who was allegedly killed by the police.

Eswatini, a tiny Kingdom situated in Southern Africa is facing growing calls for democratic reforms after the youth organized series of protests in demand for social, economic and political justice.
