MBABANE: Mbongwa Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT) says as teachers, they will support any effort that seeks to democratize eSwatini.
Speaking during a briefing by pro-democracy political leaders on Swaziland News, Dlamini described SNAT as a democratic organization that supported the struggle for democracy. He warned security officers who were always brutal against protesters that soon they would be paying them a visit in their homes.
“We are related to these officers but they also have an obligation to demonstrate that we are related. If you continue being brutal against us when we protest, we will take the struggle to your homes by paying you individual visits just to show you that enough is enough” ,said the SNAT President.
The Political Parties Assembly(PPA) is planning activities that seek to intensify the struggle for democracy and as part of the activities, a protest is being planned on the 6th September 2021.
Sibongile Mazibuko, the President of the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC) said as part of the activities, Swazis living abroad were expected to protest within the premises of Swazi Embassies in countries around world to create awareness regarding the oppression of Swazis by King Mswati.
