MBABANE: Thembumkhululi Khumalo has been appointed as the new Managing Director for the Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation(EPTC).
This was confirmed by Board Chairperson Mtiti Fakudze when speaking to this Swaziland News on Monday, he said as the Board, they hope Khumalo will utilize his experience and save the company from collapsing.
“It’s true, Themba Khumalo has been appointed, we hope he will use his experience in the communication industry to come-up with a turnaround strategy and save the company from collapsing. Siyamhalalisela, simfisela inhlanhla, liposi lifana nenkhomo lewele emseleni lefuna kuvuswa(meaning: we wish him well, he must work towards reviving the company and save it from collapsing). As the Board we gave him one hundred(100) days to come up with a turn around strategy plan and it’s three months. As a corporate guru, with huge experience and knowledge we believe he will contribute and save the company” ,said the Board Chairperson.
Efforts to reach the newly appointed Managing Director proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
Khumalo is replacing long serving MD Petros Dlamini.
