MBABANE: Lwazi Chauke who is wanted by the police for an alleged theft of a motor vehicle will hand himself over to the police.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, Chauke said he would  speak to his lawyers to consider handing himself over to the law enforcement agency after learning that he was a wanted person. He said he doesn’t understand why the police were looking for him at the time when he had filed a defamation lawsuit against them after he was falsely implicated in criminal activities.

He confirmed being an ex-convict after the court found him guilty of fraud but said he doesn’t understand how the  police  concluded that he stole a motor vehicle.

“I will speak to my lawyer so we can consider meeting the police. Actually, they should have gone to my home area to look for me instead of publishing my picture as a wanted person” ,he said.
