Former King’s Legal Adviser Musa Dlamini dies of COVID-19

MBABANE: Musa Dlamini, a former Legal Adviser to King Mswati has died of COVID-19.

Dlamini, the member of Law Society of Swaziland died on Thursday, he was representing King Mswati’s business interests at Lufafa Gold Mine.

Reached for comments, lawyer Charity Simelane, the Secretary General of the Law Society said even though they haven’t received anything official from the family, they were aware of the unfortunate death of the Attorney.

“We have not received anything official from Mr Dlamini’s family yet but by all accounts it seems to be true. We are however deeply saddened by the news of his passing and We send our deepest condolences to his family, friends and the entire legal profession.At this time we shall not say more as we would like to give the family time to deal with their loss,” she said.

Dlamini handled cases of high profile people and this include the divorce case between the late Prime Minister Barnabas Dlamini and Joy Maziya. He was once appointed by the King as a member of the Judicial Service Commission(JSC).
