LOZITHA: King Mswati has warned against the abuse of social media to discuss irrelevant issues. 

Speaking during the official launch of the R1billion re-construction fund at Mandvulo Hall, Lozitha Palace, the  King said he was surprised to see people discuss issues that does not improve their lives everytime he logged-in to social media.

“We must be careful how we use social media, some people around the world are using social media to add value into their lives. We are happy to see Swazis using technology but it’s important that we use it to our advantage. Ngoba kulamalanga siyayisebentisa, nangitsi asengibuke kutsi kutsiwani ku-social media, I see irrelevant things and I wonder what value does this add to the life of that particular person” he said.

King Mswati launched the re-construction fund on Monday, he then came hard on pro-democracy activists saying they claim to know democracy not knowing that eSwatini was democratic.
