KALANGA: Gogo Sibongile Mbingo of KaLanga in the Lubombo region who appeared on Swaziland News asking for food was on Wednesday assisted with groceries by Menzi Foundation, an Non Governmental Organization(NGO) that assist the needy.
Speaking to this publication during an interview after receiving the groceries, Mbingo thanked Menzi Foundation for their generosity adding that the assistance came at a time when she was wondering where the next meal will come from.
Eswatini, a tiny Kingdom situated in Southern Africa and ruled by billionaire King Mswati as a absolute Monarch has about 70% of the population living below the poverty line, citizens who reside in the drought striken Lubombo region are the most affected.
“I am happy to receive this assistance, the food came at a time when I was wondering where to get food. Solo ngiyakhala kutsi kodvwa longangisita ngekudla kungaba ngubani,” she said.
Speaking to this Swaziland News Sicelo Dlamini from Menzi Foundation said they were touched when seeing Gogo Sibongile Mbingo on this publication’s online platform.
“Gogo is in needy and the situation is horrible for a human being,we managed to provide her with some groceries and we believe this will make a difference.” he said.
