MBABANE:Her Royal Highness Princess Sikhanyiso, has come out to maintain that Prime Minister Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamni was not the third most senior person in the governing structure of the country.
Reacting to the highly investigative story published by this Swaziland News yesterday afternoon, the Minister of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) sent text messages to the author and Managing editor Zweli Martin Dlamini maintaining that the PM was not the third in the line of seniority in the land. The Princess decided to change her mind and responded to some of our questions after being evasive in the midst of a high-level investigation regarding a secret conspiracy to oust the Head of Government by a powerful royal clique allegedly linked to her.
“The PM is not third in the line of seniority in the land, follow the salutations during the next national event” she said.
The Princess later questioned the motive of this publication by probing the matter saying it appeared that the investigation that produced the article has been going on for some months.
But the sentiments of the Princess were disputed by Lusendvo Fakudze, the Ludzidzini Royal Residence Governor who confirmed that the Prime Minister was the third most senior person in the governing structure of the country.
The Governor said members of the public should not be confused by the reported power struggle between the PM and the Princess as the evidence regarding the governing structure of the country has been placed on the walls within the various government offices, the private sector and even private companies. He said the pictures of the King, the Queen and the PM are placed according the seniority of the governing structure in the country.
The Governor, sometimes referred to, as the traditional Prime Minister said the stand-off between the Princess and the PM was normal in every working environment, but the truth stands and ‘it is on walls’
“The Prime Minister is the third most senior person in the country, he follows the Queen after the King. What is happening between the Princess and the PM is normal in every working environment, labanye badvonsela emphumalanga, labanye enshonalanga.(meaning disagreements are always there, some pulls to the west, some to the east). People should not be confused by this because the evidence on who is senior has been placed on the walls in the various government offices, public and private companies” said the Governor.
