KALANGA: Menzi Foundation whose offices are based at eBuhleni travelled to kaLanga to assist yet another needy elderly woman, Gogo Sitani Zwane.

Eswatini, a tiny Kingdom situated in Southern Africa and ruled by multi-billionaire King Mswati as an absolute Monarch has about 70% of the population living below the poverty line. The World Food Program(WFP) reported in 2016 that over 350 000 citizens were urgently in need of food aid, some citizens who earned a living through subsistence farming were evicted from their land by King Mswati.

Speaking to this Swaziland News after accepting the donation from Menzi Foundation, Gogo Zwane said   it was her first time to see such a huge grocery in front of her.

“I have never seen this ever since I was born, I thank God for this.Ngiyathantaza kuNkulunkulu ngiyacala kukubona lokunje solo ngatalwala”, she said.

Before assisting Gogo Zwane, Menzi Foundation donated to Gogo Sibongile Mbingo last week, however, it later emerged that her neighbour (Zwane) was also in need and the Foundation had to drive back to kaLanga to assist again.
