MBABANE: Welcome Mdluli, the President of the Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union (SWADNU), says nurses are holding meetings in various health facilities across the country, they want to kick out all sick police officers in hospitals.
On Thursday morning, nurses at Nhlangano Health Centre engaged in a protest action shortly after the shooting of protestors on Wednesday, casualties include health workers and teachers.
Speaking to the Swaziland News on Thursday, the President of the Nurses Union said the decision not to treat all police officers to hospitals on arrival was considered after police shot nurses during a protest on Wednesday.
“Nurses were shot and seriously injured yesterday (Wednesday) and we are tired now, when they arrive at hospitals, we treat them, but they are killing us”,said the President of the Nurses Union.
