GEGE: Wandile Dludlu, the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) led a delegation that visited the Hlatjwako family on Wednesday to mourn the death of Sabelo Mabuza who allegedly shot and killed by the police.
The Ka-Schiele Form four(4) student was among the protestors who were killed by the police during a protest last week Wednesday.
Reached for comments, the PUDEMO Secretary General confirmed the visit to the family adding that they were there to mourn the death of the student.
“We went there to mourn the death of the Ka-Schiele student, besiyolila” he said.
Police Spokesperson Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Eswatini is in the midst of a political crisis as citizens intensify the calls for democratic reforms, over one hundred civilians have been killed by Mswati’s forces since the political unrest started in June 2021.
