Disabled Andile Mamba(14) who was shot by Mswati’s police struggling to walk, appeals for assistance.

MBABANE: Andile Mamba, a fourteen(14) year old boy who was allegedly shot by King Mswati’s police is now struggling to walk, he appeals for assistance from the public to buy a walker.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, Andile said the police randomly shot at them during the June-July protests and now he is confined to a wheelchair.

“On the 1st July, while assisting the guys who are employed in one of the shops in the area with cleaning, the police came and ordered us to vacate the shop. We came out of the shop running and that's when I found myself down and unable to walk, I discovered that I had been shot on my legs. I have been in and out of hospital since then, I’m appealing for donations from the public so I can buy a walker since I can’t use the wheelchair on steps," he said.

Eswatini, a tiny Kingdom situated in Southern Africa is in the midst of a political crisis whereby King Mswati unleashed his forces to shoot unarmed civilians who were demanding democratic reforms including women and children.
