Journalist Nelisiwe Dlamini promoted to position of Swaziland News Assistant editor before finishing probation.

MBABANE: Journalist Nelsiwe Dlamini has been promoted into the position of Swaziland News Assistant editor before finishing her probation.

The promotion of Dlamini was announced by Swaziland News Managing Editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Tuesday, it is with effect from 01 November 2021.

“The Management of the publication agreed that she must be promoted and offered highly competitive remuneration because of her hard work and dedication. In our company we don’t wait for an employee to finish three months probation if we feel he or she is working hard, we believe in rewarding hard-work”, said the Managing Editor.

Reached for comments, Assistant Editor Nelisiwe Dlamini thanked the Managing editor for the opportunity to grow in the field of journalism.

“I want to thank the Editor and the Directors of the  Swaziland News for such an opportunity to grow in this field.When given a chance  to do something, give it your all or don't do it all. More than anything I want to thank my team for working so tirelessly to provide news that are accurate and relevant even in these  trying times  in the country”, she said.
