MANZINI: Colani Maseko, the President of the Swaziland National Union of Students (SNUS) led a group of Bradford University College students on Wednesday inside the premises after they have been denied entry for several days.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the SNUS President confirmed the matter saying they managed to force their way past heavily armed police.
The Students Union President said they had come to offer support to the students who were being abused by the college.
"As the students union we will work with the Bradford University College students in the formation of the SRC and all the other issues they have until their grievances are meant", he said.
It has been disclosed that the students are complaining that they paid for online classes that never occurred and are also demanding the establishment of their own Student Representative Council (SRC ) among other grievances.
Police Spokesperson Phindile Vilakati had not responded to this publication at the time of compiling this report.
When addressing the students, Bradford University College Principal, Stanley Osagie said as management they understood the grievances of the students about the formation of the SRC in the College and other problems.
“We have heard what you want and we will send updates, there is no need of coming here now and again”, said the school principal.
