Victims and Survivors of eSwatini massacre form association.

MBABANE: Madzabudzabu Kunene, the chairman of the newly formed Swaziland Massacre Victims and Survivors Association  (SWAVISA) has called for all massacre survivors of on the ongoing massacre to register with the organisation.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, the SWAVISA Chairman said the survivors needed to register with their organisation so they  could get help.

"We urge all those who were injured but  survived the armed forces brutality during the political unrest to register with the organization so we can collectively seek help.We also appeal to Swazis and companies for any kind of assistance so we can be able to help our people. Those who would like to register with us should come to our prayer service which will be held at the Manzini Roman Cathedral this coming Friday(10 December 2021)", he said.

SWAVISA was formed as an organization that seeks to take care of all survivors of the ongoing political unrest.

This comes after King Mswati unleashed his forces on unarmed civilians who were demanding democratic reforms

The Human Rights Commission released a preliminary report suggesting that forty-six(46) were killed. 

But leaders of political parties and organizations within the civil society alleged that they have evidence substantiating that over one hundred(100) people were killed with over seventy(70) already identified.
