SIPHOCOSINI: Phesheya Hlatswayo, the former Motshane Member of Parliament(MP) visited Andile Mamba(14) the now disabled boy who was shot by the police during the political unrest.

Hlatswayo delivered a pair of crutches to Mamba and further announced the availability of two thousand Rand(R2000,00) to kick-start a small agricultural project to sustain Mamba's medical costs including food. The money was donated by a United Kingdom based Swaziland News reader, this publication then transferred it to Hlatswayo who will monitor the project on behalf of Mamba.

“We are here to visit Andile and further donate these crutches and further announce the availability of the R2000.00 that was donated by a Swazi to the Swaziland News to assist him”, he said.

Andile's grandmother thanked the former MP and this publication for the donation adding that she hoped her grandson would  soon be fully  recovered  with the support he was receiving.

It was agreed that the money should be kept in former MP Hlatswayo’s bank account and be used specifically for the project to avoid exposing  Andile to people who might take advantage of his situation.
