ENGABEZWENI: King Mswati commissioned Ingatja(young boys)on Sunday to cut Lusekwane at Masundvwini as part of his Incwala ritual ceremony.
This comes in the midst of escalating COVID-19 cases in this tiny Kingdom.
Reached for comments, Mayibongwe Masangwane, the Secretary General of the Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union(SWADNU) said as nurses they were disappointed with the decision to host Incwala despite the availability of evidence that last year it was a super-spreader of the virus.
“We are disappointed with the decision to host Incwala even this year despite evidence suggesting that last year it was a super-spreader of the virus”, said the Nurses Union Secretary General.
