MANZINI: Murder suspect Pastor Sikhumbuzo Shongwe has died, his father Bishop Nash Shongwe confirmed to this Swaziland News.

The notorious Pastor died at the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial(RFM) hospital around 12 noon on Friday after being shot four(4) times, allegedly by the police who were trying to arrest him.

When reached for comments, Bishop Nash Shongwe first asked this journalist to call him after thirty(30) minutes as he was rushing to the hospital.

“Can you call me after thirty(30) minutes Zwemart, ngisaphutfuma lasibhedlela bangibite khona(meaning: I am rushing to the hospital now”, said the Bishop.

When called later by this publication, the Bishop confirmed the death of his son.

“Hhawu, sewushonile umfana Dlamini, ushona nyalo nje(meaning: My son has died just now”, said the Bishop.

As exclusively reported by this Swaziland News, Pastor Sikhumbuzo Shongwe who was out on bail on an attempted murder charge after shooting his wife subsequently shot and killed businessman Zweli Tsabedze.

Shongwe accused Tsabedze of cheating with his wife.
