MBABANE: Hlobsile Dlamini, the Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse(SWAGAA) Programs Officer says democracy must start at home.
Speaking during the official launch of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO) Women's Wing, the women rights activist said men who aspired to lead the country in the coming democratic dispensation must start practicing democracy within their homes.
“Leadership starts at home, you cannot stand up and lead a country to democracy while practising dictatorship at home. Ngoba nalemakhaya akhona lama-Monarchy”, said the SWAGAA Programs Officer.
The Swaziland Liberation Movement (SWALIMO) launched its Women’s Wing on Saturday at the SNAT Centre, in an event that was attended by various women and women rights activists across the country.
