Mswati’s courts release influential Students President on bail as political unrest second wave looms.

MBABANE:King Mswati’s controlled courts have granted Students Union President Colani Maseko bail as the political unrest second wave looms in this tiny Kingdom.

As exclusively reported by this Swaziland News, the Students Union leader who is highly critical of King Mswati was kidnapped by Mswati’s police on Monday and subsequently charged with Sedition after he called for the removal of the King from power.

Maseko said the youth did not recognize Mswati as the Head of State and urged young people to prepare for a second wave of the political unrest that seeks to topple Mswati’s government.

Reached for comments, Wakhile Lukhele, the Secretary General of the Swaziland National Union of Students (SNUS)confirmed that their President was granted bail.

“It’s true, he has been granted R15,000.00 bail, will share more details later”, said the Students Union Secretary General.
