MATSAPHA:Incarcerated pro-democracy Member of Parliament(MP)Mthandeni Dube is not sick, his South African Correspondent Attorney Sicelo Mngomezulu has clarified.
This comes after earlier reports suggesting that the Ngwempisi MP was sick and denied access to medical attention prison authorities.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the lawyer said Dube was well and looking forward to continuing with his defence against the spurious charges levelled against him and his co-accused MP Bacede Mabuza.
“We implore those who thrive in peddling falsehoods and thus sow panic in the public domain to desist from doing so. All so called "leaks” from the correctional facility where my clients are held should be double-checked with me prior to reporting",said the lawyer.
MPs Mthandeni Dube and Bacede Mabuza were arrested and charged with terrorism after demanding democratic reforms on behalf of the people who elected them, the order to arrest the MPs was issued allegedly by King Mswati.
