MBABANE:Philile Mavuso, the Deputy President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) says they will render eSwatini ungovernable until democracy is achieved.
Speaking during a petition delivery at the Eswatini Medical Rescue College (EMRC) where the students are demanding their scholarships and better learning conditions, the SNUS Deputy President said they were concerned that students welfare was not prioritised in the country.
"We will render this country ungovernable until we achieve full democracy, it's only in a democratized country where students will get first priority",she said.
Phila Buthelezi, the Minister of Labour and Social Security had not responded to our questions at the time of compiling this report.
Eswatini is in a midst of a political crisis after King Mswati unleashed his forces to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
