KWALUSENI: King Mswati’s forces allegedly invaded homes at Mbikwakhe and Kwaluseni on Sunday in search for Solidarity Forces who shot warders.
This comes after members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) opened fire and shot Warders at Kwaluseni Ok Foods.
Speaking to this Swaziland News ,Nonhlanhla Msibi*, a resident of Mbikwakhe said Mswati’s forces which comprised of police, warders and soldiers invaded their homes without search warrants.
“It was around 8:30 am when they arrived at our house and turned things upside down, we were shocked and this traumatized even the kids”, said the resident.
Reached for comments, the Commander of the Solidarity Forces confirmed that the shot Warders at Kwaluseni.
”We fired shots and the one who was carrying the big gun might he dead”, said the Commander when speaking to this Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini shortly after shooting.
Superintendent Gugulethu Dlamini, the Correctional Services Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
The Correctional Services PRO had earlier told this publication that she will seek permission from Government before responding to questions from this publication.
“I will have to get permission from Government before commenting”, said the Correctional Services Spokesperson.
Army Spokesperson Tengetile Khumalo had not responded to our questions at the time of compiling this report.
Reached for comments Lucky Lukhele, the Spokeperson of the Swaziland solidarity Network (SSN) said the country no longer had security forces but a military owned by King Mswati
“The Swazi state has always been a criminal state there are no longer security forces in Swaziland but a military owned by King Mswati, therefore, the people of Swaziland must continue fighting for democracy" he said.
King Mswati allegedly unleashed soldiers and the police to shot and kill dozens of civilians during the recent political unrest.
The Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) says they will now target police, soldiers and warders including high profile people in response to the killing of civilians by Mswati’s regime.
Soldiers and the police are looking for Solidarity Forces who shot warders.
