MBABANE: Natural Resources Minister Peter Bhembe has died.
The death of the Minister was confirmed by a Cabinet Minister when speaking to this Swaziland News on Monday afternoon.
“It’s true but don’t mention my name”, said the Minister who confirmed the sad news to this publication.
Thabile Mdluli, the Deputy Government Spokesperson had not responded to our questions at the time of compiling this report.
Reached for comments, Deputy Senate President Ndumiso Mdluli said he was yet to to receive the sad news.
”Kunjani utsintse laba labakutjelile Hlubie(meaning) Kindly confirm with those who told you”, said the Deputy Senate President.
An MP who confirmed the death of the Minister said Bhembe has been in the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) for the past week.
