The oppressed Swazis have all the powers to ground King Mswati and make sure he doesn’t enjoy a peaceful sleep until he surrenders power to the people.
As Swazis living in exile, we must do everything we can to liberate this country and demonstrate to the King that we are citizens of eSwatini who deserve to be treated with human dignity.
It is very disturbing to note that pro-democracy MPs Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube are in prison merely for expressing their political views, independent journalists and political activists are forced into exile.
The over one million Swazis have all the powers to ensure that Mswati felt like he was in prison or in exile in his own Palace, he mustn’t enjoy a lavish life until he surrenders power to the people.
Mswati, after shooting and killing innocent civilians, undermined the intelligence of the people when he declared that eSwatini belonged to him, the onus is now upon the citizens to prove to him that he doesn’t own the country.
It is for these reasons, he kills, arrests and sends anyone to exile with a different political view because he believes the people are his private property.
Now, the country is slowly becoming ungovernable and Mswati knows what to do after making a commitment to SADC to participate in a dialogue.
It is stupidity of the highest order for the King to kill innocent citizens and expect life to be normal in this country, the victims of the massacre need justice.
Furthermore, the people are eagerly waiting for democracy and the more Mswati delays to participate in a meaningful dialogue, the more he is triggering anger from the citizens.
In conclusion, it is my humble plea to all Swazis to do everything they can and remove Mswati from power.
The King was never elected by the people and there’s no reason whatsoever for him to hold on to power.
