MBABANE: Sickly Senior Superintendent Clement Sihlongonyane was on Tuesday involved in a verbal showdown with editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.

This comes after the editor called the Senior Superintendent and questioned him as to what he was doing next to his home in the past weeks.

“Sihlongonyane ufunani emtini wami(meaning)What do you want in my home?”, asked the editor in a recorded audio.

When responding to the editor, the Senior Superintendent who allegedly killed civilians responded with insults.

“Ngitakwetfuka mine Zweli!” said the cop.

Reached for comments, the editor said he regarded Clement Sihlongonyane as a criminal and a killer and had a reason to be worried when he was seen next to his home.

“I don’t want a killer next to my home and I told him exactly that. I am a family man and if a killer invades my home, I know what to do.I would like to thank the pro-democracy soldiers based at Mdzimba who alerted me after seeing Sihlongonyane there. Next time, if he is seen there, they must not even report him to me but do the right thing. I was tortured by these police criminals for doing my job in the public interest and I appeal to the public and all forces to do the right thing and protect me from these criminals”, said the editor.

The Senior Superintendent has been sick and away from work for almost two months, however, he has been using his private car to drive from his home around Big Bend to visit the editor’s home and was spotted there several times.
