MBABANE:Build It Mbabane Manager Gladhwin Hillary has allegedly banned one of the for hire services operators from doing any business within the store’s premises.
According to a letter in possession of this Swaziland News, the Build It Manager wrote to George Dombo, a for hire services operator based in Mbabane informing him that he was banned from operating within the store's premises.
“Please be advised that the Directors of Build It Mbabane/Nhlangano, have opted to enforce their right of admission reserved on you with immediate effect", reads the letter in part.
Speaking to this publication, George Dombo,the for hire services operator who is being victimized by Mbabane Build It said he had been in this business for a long time only to be told to stop working without any reason.
“I have three trucks and are operated by three drivers who solely depend on me, how are they supposed to continue surviving with their families now?" he said.
Mr Ahmed, the Manager at Build It Mbabane had not responded to our questions at the time of compiling this report.
When reached for comments, Lucky Dlamini, the President of the Swaziland Unemployed People's Movement (SUPMO) said the behaviour of the white owned Build It amounted to racism.
"SUPMO calls on all our people to fight racism with all they have.The Swaziland we want will place the ownership of the economy at the hands of Swazi people, and we shall all share the economy as the people”, he said.
Build it boss bans Swazis from providing for hire services within his premises.
