Political unrest victims Association get R7,000.00 laptop from SNAT, R2000.00 from Swaziland News anonymous reader.

MANZINI: Madzabudzabu Kunene, the Chairperson of the Swaziland Massacre Victims and Survivors Association(SWAVISA) has welcome a donation of a laptop worth R7,000.00 from the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT).

The Association further received a donation of R2,000.00 from an anonymous Swaziland News reader, the reader contacted editor Zweli Martin Dlamini and asked to make the donation without his name being disclosed.

Speaking to this publication, Sikelela Dlamini, the SNAT Secretary General said they supported all human rights organizations including SWAVISA because their formation was  not of choice but a need to the society. 

“We have given them a laptop worth  E7000.00 for them to be able to keep records and for their office work to be easy.SNAT supports everyone who calls for constitutional multy party democracy,”said the SNAT Secretary General.

Reached for comments, SWAVISA Chairperson  Madzabudzabu Kunene thanked the teachers union and the anonymous Swaziland News reader who donated R2000.00 to the organization. 

“Everyone is going digital so this laptop will assist us with our files and our information will be safe.We want to urge all Swazis and organizations to support us, be it financially or otherwise as we try to reach out to everyone who was affected during the political unrest in the country”, said the SWAVISA Chairperson.
