MBABANE: The Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) allegedly burnt cars belonging to police officers at the Mbabane Police Camp in the early morning hours on Saturday.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, the Commander of the Solidarity Forces confirmed that they conducted an operation at the Mbabane Police Camp and burnt cars.
“It’s true that we fired shots at the Mbabane Police Camp and burnt police cars”, said the Commander of the Solidarity Forces.
The attack comes a few days after police officers were warned by the Commander that if they continued with the shooting and killing of civilians, they would now be attacked personally, however the police shot protestors at the High Court on Thursday last week.
Police Spokesperson Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this this report.
Mswati’s police allegedly killed dozens of civilians since the political unrest started in June 2021.
